The value of positive thinking

Research has shown that being able to find a different perspective during challenging moments can often decrease stress and produce improved decision-making and outcomes. When stressful periods occur, seeking a brief pause or change in pace, focusing on another activity, or simply taking some deep breaths can be effective for helping to shift your attention away from the stress.  Adding to these actions during difficult times, reflecting on a well-written quotation can lead to a new and healthier perspective for handling a situation. Hopefully, in this regard, one of the sayings on this page, if needed, can lead to a process for moving forward in a more positive direction.
